Plant Protection Program 2017-2018 education started in the education year. Plant protection is an important part of agricultural production because it is very suitable for the harmful and disease development and diversity of climatic conditions in our country. In recent years, the need for graduates of the Plant Protection Program has increased considerably in agricultural production. Many producers want to work with "Agricultural Engineer / Technician" who is a graduate of "Plant Protection" in order not to be confronted with "Pesticide Residue" which is a problem in exported products. In the program of Plant Protection; biological and ecological characteristics of the diseases, pests and weeds in agricultural crops, determination of their biological and ecological characteristics, their relationship with plants and each other as well as cultural, physical, mechanical, legal, biotechnical, It is aimed to meet the needs of the intermediate staff of the sector. In the Plant Protection Program; it is aimed to train students who have the skills of using computers, sufficient theoretical knowledge and ability to apply this knowledge, who can solve the problems they are facing, as well as basic vocational courses.
